Safety standards for amusement facilities that you must know

1. Safety insurance measures: The overall structure of the passenger part of children’s amusement facilities operating in the air should be firm and reliable, and insurance measures should be taken for important parts. The number of wire ropes or chains used to hang the passenger part shall not be less than two. The connection with the seat part must be considered to be able to maintain balance when one is disconnected.

2. Passenger safety restraint device: When the amusement facility is running, passengers may be moved, collided, thrown out or slipped out of the ride, so a restraint device for passengers must be provided. For more dangerous amusement facilities, if necessary, operators should set up two sets of independent restraint devices. Seat belts, safety pressure bars, bumpers, etc. can be used.

3. Requirements for fences and platforms: Fences should be set up for entrances and exits respectively, guide fences should be set at entrances, and platforms should have anti-skid measures. The opening direction of the fence gate should be consistent with the travel direction of passengers. In order to prevent injury to personnel’s hands when closing the door, the gap between the door frame and the column should be appropriate, or other protective measures should be taken.

4. Other safety requirements: Amusement facilities should set eye-catching safety signs in necessary places. There are four types of safety signs: prohibition signs (red), warning signs (yellow), instruction signs (blue), and reminder signs (green). Where passengers can touch, exposed sharp edges, sharp corners, burrs and dangerous protrusions are not allowed.
